The Greenhouse Watering System is a custom watering system for automated greenhouse operations that require accurate watering. The system can be quickly integrated with any conveyor belt and configured for your exact needs.
The moisture sensors use 2nd generation moisture sensing technology to quickly and accurately measure the soil moisture in less than 100 milliseconds. They are constructed of durable materials that are both reusable and autoclavable.
Moisture Sensors (not shown):
*Frequency domain capacity theory that is used in 2nd generation moisture sensors and modern touch screens
*Advanced solid-state domain capacity technology is insensitive to water salinity and does not corrode over time like resistant based moisture sensors that have exposed electrical leads
*Individual moisture sensor stays with each pot throughout the growing season
*Durable, reusable, easily autoclaved sensors
The watering station reads the moisture, calculates how much water the plant needs, and dispenses the water. The entire watering process only takes a few seconds. The watering station settings can be quickly changed by the operator using the touchscreen interface.
Watering station:
*where the moisture sensors are read by the microcontroller that waters the plant.
*The microcontroller reads the moisture sensors, calculates the amount of water that needs to be dispensed and operated the water valves, watering the plant.
*The station contains the computer and user interface systems where the operator can easily adjust the program.
*The station itself can be easily installed anywhere along the conveyor belt.
